Christmas came early!

Zeke is here to announce that Christmas came early...

Baby Bost will be arriving August 2013!!

We are so thankful that God has blessed us with another precious little one, and we cannot wait to meet him/her. Although, Ezra has already started calling the baby his "sister." :)

O give thanks unto the Lord; for he is good; for his mercy endureth for ever. 1 Chronicles 16:34

Found some fun phone pics!

Ezra at age one learning to feed himself.

Zeke at age one. :) I thought it would be cute when I found these to see how the boys compared in looks at the same age. It's precious having Ezra to cheer Zeke on as well instead of just me at new milestones. Even though Zeke's been feeding himself for a few months now, Ezra still exclaims, "Yea! Zeke did it!" when he eats his yogurt in the mornings. It puts a big grin on Zeke's face too. ::Mommy's heart melting::

Therefore encourage one another and build each other up, just as in fact you are doing. 1 Thessalonians 5:11

At this time last year...

We were anxiously awaiting baby Zeke's arrival (visiting Iron's fruit farm)!

We wouldn't get to meet him until 9 days past his due date (exactly like his big brother) on November 4th. Mommy and Daddy were so thankful for his safe arrival! We stayed in the hospital a few extra days because of Zeke's slight fever.

Zeke has always been an easy going guy from day one.

I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made... Psalm 139:14

Ezra loves being a big brother!

It has been such a joy to see them grow along side each other and become friends.

We thank God for our precious gift and cherish every moment with him. We love you, Zeke!

On a side note, daddy is back safe from Argentina! :)

Our 2012 family Christmas card

I was excited to discover tonight that Shutterfly will send you a ten dollar credit if you post your Christmas card! So, I hope you like it, and I really hope Matt likes it. He won't be able to approve it for nine more days when he comes back from Argentina. They were having such good sales, so I just couldn't wait! Yes, I am already thinking Christmas in October. It just becomes so crazy for us as December gets closer, and I'm trying not to cry worry think about Matt flying to another continent as I write this! Please be praying for him and the others while traveling and during their mission trip to Buenos Aires.

Matt's favorite Bible verse:
Be joyful always; pray continually; give thanks in all circumstances, for this is God's will for you in Christ Jesus. 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18

West Virginia and Tennessee

Ezra got to play with some big boy toys at my Uncle Jim's farm this summer in West Virginia. He had so much fun on our first trip out that we had to plan for another visit, and Uncle Jim and Aunt Gerry graciously allowed us back!
We also took a trip with the Bost family to Tennessee. We took this picture inside The Great Smoky Mountains National Park by one of the first settler's farm. Although Matt and I will be the first to admit that we are not very good at "roughing it", we do love being outside enjoying God's creation. It was one of our favorite parts of the trip. Oh, and we saw bears (from the safety of our car). :)

Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honour and power: for thou hast created all things, and for thy pleasure they are and were created. Revelation 4: 11

Our First Post

The boys just love their blankies. This is my favorite picture of the moment. I'm purposing to upload more soon of our recent trip to West Virginia. Ezra got to "drive" lots of big boy toys!

Lo, children are a heritage of the Lord: and the fruit of the womb is his reward. Psalm 127:3
